New Delhi, October 20, 2025: Kawasaki India has officially launched the 2026 Kawasaki Z900 in the country at an introductory price of ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model is ₹19,000 more affordable than the outgoing 2025 version, making it an even better value in the litre-class naked motorcycle segment.
What’s New in the 2026 Kawasaki Z900?
The 2026 Z900 doesn’t bring a complete overhaul but does get a few notable updates:
- Two new colour options – Candy Lime Green/Metallic Carbon Gray and Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray/Metallic Flat Spark Black
- Slight bump in performance – now produces 123.6 bhp and 98.6 Nm, up by 1.6 bhp and 1.2 Nm respectively
- Weight reduction – now weighs 212 kg, which is 1 kg lighter than before
Engine and Performance
The motorcycle continues to use the 948cc inline four-cylinder engine, known for its smoothness, refined nature, and thrilling acceleration. Kawasaki had revised the cam profiles in the 2025 update to enhance low-end torque delivery — a setup that continues into the 2026 model.
Technology and Features
The 2026 Z900 retains all the advanced features from the previous generation, including:
