2026 Toyota Sienna: Features, Prices & Hybrid Updates

Toyota is updating its popular Sienna minivan for the 2026 model year, adding more standard features to entry-level trims while keeping prices mostly reasonable. Now entering its fifth model year, the Sienna continues to compete strongly against rivals like Kia, Chrysler, and Honda.

Price Updates Across Trims

The 2026 Sienna sees modest price increases:

  • LE: $40,120 (+$685)
  • XLE: $44,820 (+$525)
  • XSE: $48,045 (+$1,105)
  • Limited: $50,805 (+$305)
  • Woodland: $50,900 (+$175)
  • Platinum: $57,510 (+$1,065)

Interestingly, all-wheel drive is slightly cheaper on the XSE trim ($890) compared to the usual $2,000 upcharge on other trims, making it a better value for AWD buyers.

New Features and Updates

Most of the upgrades target base trims. The LE trim gains two extra speakers, rear window sunshades, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, windshield de-icer, roof rails, and a power tailgate. The XLE and XSE trims see minor upgrades, such as turn signals on mirror caps and roof rails, while the XSE adds a 12-speaker JBL sound system.

Powertrain and Safety

Mechanically, the Sienna remains unchanged with a hybrid 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 245 hp. Front-wheel drive is standard, with AWD optional on most trims. The Woodland and Platinum trims get standard AWD, with slightly higher ground clearance on the Woodland. Safety and convenience features include adaptive cruise control with lane-centering, forward automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 8-inch or 12.3-inch infotainment screens.

The 2026 Toyota Sienna will arrive at dealerships in January, offering a blend of upgraded features, hybrid efficiency, and AWD versatility.
