VinFast Limo Green Spotted Testing in India with 450km Range

Shortly after VinFast patented the Limo Green eMPV in India, a camouflaged test mule was spotted testing on Indian roads. This upcoming model is expected to be the brand’s first electric MPV (eMPV) for India, blending long-range practicality with modern design.

Exterior Design and Dimensions

The VinFast Limo Green retains the design cues of its Vietnam-spec version, offering clean lines and a futuristic silhouette.

It measures 4.7 metres long, 1.8 metres wide, and 1.7 metres tall, with a 2.8-metre wheelbase, making it larger than the Kia Carens Clavis EV, its main rival.

Design elements include black wheel arch claddings, dual-tone ORVMs with turn indicators, sleek LED DRLs, and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, giving the MPV a stylish, premium stance.

Interior and Features

Inside, the Limo Green features a seven-seat layout with focus on space and comfort. The dashboard houses a 10.1-inch infotainment system, four-speaker audio setup, and single-zone automatic climate control.

The multi-link rear suspension ensures a smoother ride, and the cabin gets ample storage, USB ports, and flat-folding second-row seats for practicality.

Powertrain, Battery, and Range

The VinFast Limo Green is powered by a 60.13kWh battery pack paired with a 150kW electric motor producing 280Nm of torque, offering a claimed 450km range.

It supports DC fast charging (80kW), allowing 10–70% charge in about 30 minutes. VinFast’s 8-year/1,60,000km battery warranty and NMC battery chemistry ensure long-term reliability and performance.

Production and India Plans

VinFast is expected to assemble the Limo Green locally at its Thoothukudi plant in Tamil Nadu, alongside the VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs.

The company is also expanding its VGreens charging network, offering free charging access for early adopters in India.

Expected Launch and Rivals

The Limo Green is likely to launch in mid-2026, positioned against the Kia Carens Clavis EV. Thanks to local assembly, it could undercut its rivals on price while offering strong range and comfort.
