While the model continues to wear the eye-catching yellow shade first seen on the 2024 Basalt Vision, this refreshed iteration introduces several visual upgrades that enhance its street presence.
Sportier Exterior With Lowered, Dynamic Stance
The new Basalt Vision adopts design changes aimed at appealing to younger and style-focused buyers. Key updates include:
- Redesigned front and rear bumpers
- New petal-style 18-inch alloy wheels
- “Vision” branding on the doors
- Red brake calipers
- Red exterior accents
- Lowered suspension for a more purposeful stance
Together, these updates create a sharper, more athletic look, distinguishing the Vision concept from the standard Basalt.
Interior Expected to Mirror Top-Spec Trim
Though Citroën has not shared interior images yet, it has confirmed that the Basalt Vision is based on the top-spec model. Expected features include:
- Dual digital displays
- Automatic climate control
- Connected car tech
- Ventilated front seats
- Upgraded upholstery and trim
These features align closely with the India-spec Basalt X, which recently debuted with interior enhancements.
Likely India Launch as a Styling Pack
Citroën has positioned this as a “Vision” variant — indicating a design-focused package rather than a mechanical upgrade. With India serving as a major production hub for the Basalt lineup, this sportier styling pack has strong potential for an India introduction.
The Basalt currently offers two petrol engines in India:
- 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (5MT)
- 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (6MT / 6AT)
If launched here, the Basalt Vision pack would likely be offered as an appearance upgrade on these existing powertrains, similar to the Basalt X.
