Mahindra has taken a major step in strengthening India’s EV ecosystem with the launch of its new 180kW ultra-fast public charging network. Designed to support long-distance electric travel, the rollout begins with two operational stations and will expand rapidly over the next two years.
National Rollout Under Charge_IN
The network, branded Charge_IN, will grow to 250 ultra-fast charging stations by 2027. In parallel, Mahindra plans to build a wider ecosystem of more than 1,000 charging touchpoints, including partner locations and fast-charging hubs.

First Charging Sites
The first two stations are live at:
- Hoskote, NH75 near Bengaluru
- Murthal, NH44 near Delhi
Each location houses two 180kW chargers, allowing up to four EVs to charge simultaneously. Positioned along major highways, the stations are aimed at enabling seamless intercity travel.
Fast Charging Performance
Mahindra states that compatible EVs can charge from 20 to 80 percent in around 20 minutes, making Charge_IN one of the fastest public charging networks currently available in India. The stations are located near food and rest facilities to enhance convenience during charging stops.
Open to All EV Brands
While the network will support Mahindra’s electric lineup, including the BE 6, XEV 9e and upcoming XEV 9S, it will also be accessible to EVs from other manufacturers. Mahindra EV owners can locate and pay through the Me4U app, while other users will access the network via the Charge_IN app.
