BMW has revealed the Z4 Final Edition, marking the end of production for its iconic two-seat roadster. With no successor planned, this Final Edition serves as the last chapter of BMW’s dedicated convertible range.
A Farewell to BMW’s Roadster Legacy
The Z4 has long been BMW’s only pure open-top sports car, known for its classic proportions, rear-wheel-drive layout and engaging dynamics. The Final Edition signifies BMW’s shift toward SUVs and electrification, bringing an end to its standalone convertible programme.
Exclusive Exterior Upgrades
The Final Edition stands apart visually with:
- Frozen Matt Black paint exclusive to this variant
- Gloss red M Sport brake calipers
- Final Edition door sills
Aside from these additions, the Z4 retains its familiar long bonnet and low-slung stance, enhanced here for a more collector-focused appeal.

Interior Enhancements
The cabin receives a sporty, limited-run finish with:
- Contrast red stitching
- M Sport bucket seats in leather or Alcantara
- Alcantara-wrapped M steering wheel with red accents
These updates elevate the Z4’s interior without altering its mechanical package.
Powertrain
BMW has made no mechanical changes, meaning the Final Edition continues with the same engine and dynamic setup as the standard Z4 range.
Limited Availability
BMW has not confirmed production numbers or India availability, but as a Final Edition, supply will be limited. With no successor in development, this model ends BMW’s long-running roadster lineage.
