Kia India has closed November 2025 with strong momentum, posting impressive year-on-year growth even as sales naturally settled after October’s festive high. With the next-generation Seltos only days away from its market debut, much of Kia’s strength this month has come from the consistently popular Sonet, which continues to anchor the brand’s performance in the highly competitive sub-four metre SUV segment.
During November 2025, Kia recorded domestic sales of 25,489 units. This represents a significant 23.73 percent increase over the 20,600 units sold in November 2024, amounting to a rise of 4,889 units. A key factor behind this growth has been the continuing positive impact of GST 2.0 pricing benefits, which have helped make Kia’s mainstream models more accessible and boosted overall demand in the compact and mid-size SUV categories.
However, when compared month on month, the numbers reflect a typical post-festival adjustment. October 2025 sales had surged to 29,556 units, and the decline to 25,489 units in November results in a drop of 13.76 percent. This shift is in line with broader market trends and does little to detract from Kia’s strong annual performance.
Cumulatively, Kia has delivered 2,61,627 units in the domestic market so far this year. This reflects a healthy rise of 10.84 percent over the 2,36,043 units sold during the same period in 2024. Export performance also remains impressive, with 25,279 units shipped overseas from India. When domestic and export figures are combined, Kia India’s total year-to-date sales stand at 2,86,906 units, showcasing the brand’s expanding influence in both local and global markets.
The Sonet continues to be the brand’s primary growth engine. Its rugged design, strong feature package and broad appeal among young buyers have helped it deliver an outstanding 30 percent year-on-year growth in November alone. This ongoing success cements the Sonet’s reputation as one of India’s most popular subcompact SUVs.
Attention now shifts to the imminent arrival of the next-generation Kia Seltos, which will make its India debut on December 10, 2025. The updated model features a bold new design aligned with Kia’s global styling language, along with major interior upgrades aimed at elevating cabin quality and technology. With the Seltos already being one of the most successful mid-size SUVs in the country, the launch of the new generation is expected to inject fresh momentum into Kia’s performance as it approaches 2026.
