Mahindra has officially announced a price increase for the Bolero Neo, effective from January 2026. The price hike, which affects the N4 and N8 variants, will see an increase of up to ₹20,000, bringing the new ex-showroom prices for the Bolero Neo to a range of ₹8.69 lakh to ₹10.49 lakh.
The price revision primarily impacts the lower-end N4 and N8 variants, with the N4 model seeing the largest hike of ₹20,000, equating to a 2.36% increase. The N8 variant also experiences a smaller price bump, while the higher-end trims, including the N10, N11, and N10 (O) variants, remain unaffected by this price adjustment. This decision to increase prices comes in response to rising input and production costs that have affected many automakers globally.
The Mahindra Bolero Neo continues to be a popular choice for customers looking for an affordable, no-frills SUV with a rugged, traditional design. Positioned as a more compact and budget-friendly option compared to larger SUVs, the Bolero Neo is seen as an ideal choice for urban and rural buyers alike. With its SUV-like design, spacious cabin, and strong road presence, it provides practicality without compromising on performance.
Under the hood, the Bolero Neo offers a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder diesel engine, delivering solid performance and fuel efficiency. The SUV is available in both manual and automatic transmission options, ensuring versatility for different driving preferences. While the N4 and N8 variants offer a good mix of features at an affordable price, the more premium N10 and N11 variants come with additional features such as touchscreen infotainment, LED DRLs, and alloy wheels, which cater to buyers seeking a more feature-rich experience.
Despite the price hike, Mahindra’s decision to increase prices only on specific variants while keeping the top-spec versions unchanged is likely to maintain the Bolero Neo’s appeal for those who prioritize affordability. For the budget-conscious customer, the Bolero Neo remains a strong competitor in the sub-₹10 lakh SUV segment, offering a blend of performance, reliability, and practicality in an increasingly competitive market.
