Jeep India Plans Global Exports, Special Editions, and a New SUV by 2027

Jeep India is gearing up for an exciting new chapter with its Strategic Plan Jeep 2.0, aimed at expanding its lineup, delighting customers, and strengthening its presence both in India and abroad. The most anticipated announcement is an all-new SUV arriving in 2027, the first completely new model from the brand in five years. Until then, Jeep plans to release special editions of its existing models, giving fans fresh choices and keeping the excitement alive.

But Jeep’s vision goes beyond India’s borders. Vehicles built at its Ranjangaon plant in Maharashtra will be exported to markets across Africa, North America, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. India is now the first country outside North America to produce Jeep models for right-hand-drive markets, highlighting the country’s growing role in the brand’s global strategy.

The company is also ramping up localisation from around 65-70% to 90%, making operations more efficient while keeping costs in check. At the same time, Jeep is enhancing the ownership experience, offering pre-maintenance services, extended warranties, and premium customer loyalty programs to ensure owners feel valued and supported.

Currently, Jeep India’s lineup includes the Compass, Meridian, Wrangler, and Grand Cherokee, but Strategic Plan 2.0 signals a bold future. As Stellantis India CEO and MD Shailesh Hazela puts it, “Jeep’s 85-year legacy is built on authenticity and adventure. Strategic Plan Jeep 2.0 sharpens our product strategy and strengthens the customer experience year after year.”

With new models on the horizon, stronger global ambitions, higher localisation, and a focus on customer care, Jeep India is setting the stage for an exciting future—one that promises adventure, reliability, and a sense of pride for owners and enthusiasts alike.
