Bajaj Auto Limited’s two-wheeler sales in India have slowed down noticeably. Domestic sales dropped to 1,30,077 units in July 2025, down 15.96% from 1,54,771 units sold in July 2024, marking a volume decline of 24,694 units. Month-on-month sales also fell from 1,39,964 units in June 2025.
In July, Bajaj added the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z UG to its lineup while removing the Pulsar N150 from its website. The company expects sales to improve with the new NS400Z UG, which offers several mechanical and performance upgrades. Bookings are open at dealerships nationwide, with deliveries set to begin shortly.
Bajaj Sales Breakup July 2025
The Pulsar remained Bajaj’s best-selling model despite a sharp decline. It was the fourth highest-selling two-wheeler in India after the Splendor, Activa, and Shine. Pulsar sales stood at 79,817 units in July 2025, down 16.67% from 95,789 units in July 2024. The 125cc Pulsar led demand with 41,306 units, followed by the 150cc at 16,878 units. The lineup also included 16,111 units of the 200cc, 4,362 units of the 250cc, and 1,160 units of the 400cc variants.
Bajaj Platina was second, posting 29,424 units, a 1.72% year-on-year growth. The Bajaj Chetak, the company’s sole electric two-wheeler, recorded the steepest decline, with sales falling 42.41% to 11,584 units from 20,114 units last year.
Bajaj CT and Freedom Sales Decline in July 2025
Sales of the Bajaj CT and Freedom models also slipped. CT sales dropped 13.77% to 4,722 units, down from 5,476 units in July 2024, with all sales coming from the 110cc variant. Freedom sales dipped 1.24% to 1,909 units from 1,933 units year-on-year.
In contrast, the Bajaj Avenger and Dominar showed signs of recovery in domestic demand. Avenger sales rose 3.09% to 1,468 units from 1,424 units in July 2024. The Avenger 180 accounted for most sales at 1,117 units, with the Avenger 220 adding 351 units. Dominar sales increased 4.06% to 1,153 units from 1,108 units the previous year.
