BMW India has refreshed the iX1 Long Wheelbase (LWB) lineup by introducing a new exterior colour and two additional vegan leather upholstery themes. These updates enhance the premium electric SUV’s customisation options and are now available for bookings at BMW dealerships across the country.
New Exterior Colour Introduced
BMW has added a new, premium paint shade to the iX1 LWB range — Night Dusk Blue, a deep metallic blue finish that adds a richer visual appeal to the SUV. With this addition, customers can now choose from four exterior colour options:
- Night Dusk Blue (new)
- Carbon Black
- Mineral White
- Skyscraper Grey
The expanded palette offers buyers more ways to personalise their electric BMW in line with their style preferences.
New Vegan Interior Upholstery Themes
The updated iX1 Long Wheelbase also gains two fresh Veganza vegan leather upholstery options:
- Smoke White + Atlas Grey (dual-tone)
- Castanea
These new upholstery choices come with a premium 3D quilting pattern and use sustainable materials that align with BMW’s long-term environmental objectives. To amplify the cabin’s upscale feel, BMW extends the upholstery treatment across:
- Seats
- Dashboard
- Door panels
- Speaker grille mesh
This holistic design approach enhances the brand’s signature cocooning interior effect, making the cabin more immersive and luxurious.
Feature Upgrades Based on Customer Feedback
BMW has been progressively enhancing the iX1 LWB to better meet customer expectations. A recent update added a 360-degree camera system, improving driver visibility and ease of manoeuvring. The latest refresh focuses on increasing personalisation options with revised interior and exterior choices.
