Honda CL250 E-Clutch Launch Price JPY 704K (Rs 4.19 L) – New Features

In the quarter-litre segment, Honda first introduced its e-clutch system with the Rebel 250. Now, this technology extends to its scrambler sibling, the CL250, offered in a new variant called the CL250 E-Clutch. This model will launch in Japan on 24th October 2025.

Honda CL250 E-Clutch Launch – Key features

Honda’s e-clutch system makes riding easier by removing the need to manually use the clutch when shifting gears. However, riders can still choose to use the clutch if they want. This flexibility suits both beginners and seasoned riders.

With the e-clutch active, riders don’t need to operate the clutch even when starting or stopping. This gives full control while reducing effort during gear shifts. The system has proven popular on the Rebel 250, and similar success is expected for the CL250 E-Clutch.

Other updates

The base CL250 also receives practical upgrades. For instance, the redesigned main step helps riders reach the ground more easily. Additionally, the improved seat foam enhances comfort on long rides. Furthermore, the updated instrument cluster reduces sunlight reflection, improving daytime visibility.

These updates make the CL250 more versatile while maintaining the scrambler’s hallmark agility and easy handling. The base model comes in Pearl Cadet Gray. Meanwhile, the e-clutch variant offers Pearl Dusk Yellow and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic colors.

The CL250 sports a dynamic profile that supports customization through official accessories. These include headlight visors, raised fenders, rear side covers, and knuckle guards. Moreover, riders can equip touring accessories like a top box and saddlebags.
