Hyundai Hybrid Cars India: Big Plans Revealed for 2030

Hyundai hybrid cars India are set to redefine the brand’s future as the automaker announces plans to launch eight new hybrid models by 2030. This announcement, made at Hyundai’s first-ever India Investor Day, marks a significant milestone in the company’s push toward sustainable and fuel-efficient mobility in India.

At present, Hyundai’s sales in India are dominated by petrol and CNG models, which account for almost 99% of its total volumes. However, by 2030, the company expects Hyundai hybrid cars to make up around 16% of overall sales. This strategic move highlights Hyundai’s focus on cleaner, greener, and more efficient vehicles tailored to the Indian market.


Creta Hybrid and Venue Hybrid to Lead Hyundai’s Lineup

The first in this upcoming lineup of Hyundai hybrid cars in India is expected to be the Hyundai Creta Hybrid, followed by the Hyundai Venue Hybrid. These popular SUVs are strong candidates for hybrid technology, offering buyers the perfect mix of performance and fuel savings.

In total, Hyundai plans 26 new model launches by 2030. These will include an MPV, likely to share its platform with the Kia Carens, and a new off-road SUV designed to challenge the Maruti Jimny, Mahindra Thar/Roxx, and Force Gurkha.
