Hyundai has officially revealed the variant details of the upcoming 2025 Hyundai Venue, just days before its launch. The compact SUV, which has received major design and feature updates, now comes with a new variant nomenclature, improved features, and an expanded powertrain lineup.
New Variant Naming Structure
In a major update, Hyundai has replaced the old variant names with an all-new format. All trims of the new Venue now start with the prefix “HX”, followed by a number to denote the variant level. This change brings a more modern and streamlined naming convention to the popular SUV.
Engine and Transmission Options
The new Hyundai Venue 2025 continues with the familiar engine lineup –
- 1.2-litre petrol
- 1.0-litre turbo-petrol
- 1.5-litre diesel
For the first time, the diesel engine gets an automatic gearbox, expanding the SUV’s versatility. The model also retains manual, iMT, and DCT transmission options across various trims.

Launch Details
The 2025 Hyundai Venue will be launched on November 4, 2025, with bookings already open for ₹25,000. With its updated design, added tech features, and new diesel automatic variant, the Venue aims to further strengthen Hyundai’s position in India’s competitive compact SUV market.
