Kia Carens CNG Launched in India at ₹11.77 Lakh with Lovato Kit

Kia India has launched the Carens CNG in India, priced at ₹11.77 lakh (ex-showroom). Available as a dealer-level fitment, this new variant is based on the Premium (O) trim and costs ₹77,900 more than its petrol-only counterpart, which is priced at ₹10.99 lakh.

The Carens CNG uses a government-approved Lovato kit backed by a three-year/1 lakh km third-party warranty. While official performance figures are yet to be disclosed, the CNG version continues to use the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 113bhp and 144Nm, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The MPV retains its seven-seat configuration.

Feature highlights include an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse parking camera with guidelines, semi-leatherette upholstery, six airbags, TPMS, and a 12.5-inch LCD instrument cluster. The Carens CNG also gets 15-inch steel wheels with covers and five Type-C charging ports, offering a solid mix of practicality and value.

With this launch, Kia expands its CNG lineup, targeting buyers looking for a more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly MPV without compromising on comfort or safety.
