Lamborghini has introduced the Urus SE as the new flagship of its SUV lineup, marking a major step forward for the brand. For the first time, the Urus gets a plug-in hybrid powertrain, blending extreme performance with improved efficiency while staying true to Lamborghini’s bold identity.
The Urus SE produces an impressive 789 bhp and 950 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Urus ever. The hybrid system combines a twin-turbo petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver instant acceleration and strong performance across all driving conditions. Despite the massive output, Lamborghini claims the new setup reduces emissions by up to 80 percent compared to the outgoing version.
Electric driving is another major highlight. The Urus SE can travel up to 60 km in pure electric mode, allowing for quiet, emission-free driving during short trips and city commutes. This adds a practical edge to the super SUV, making it easier to live with on a daily basis.
In terms of design, the Urus SE keeps its aggressive and muscular stance but receives subtle updates to improve aerodynamics and efficiency. These changes help distinguish it as the flagship model without altering its instantly recognizable Lamborghini look. Inside, the cabin remains focused on luxury and technology, offering high-quality materials, a modern layout, and an upgraded digital interface.
With the UrusSE, Lamborghini proves that electrification can enhance performance rather than limit it. By combining supercar-level power with hybrid efficiency, the Urus SE sets a new benchmark in the performance SUV segment and signals Lamborghini’s approach to a more electrified future.
