The Land Rover Discovery Gemini and Tempest Editions have officially launched in India, starting at ₹1.26 crore. These new editions replace the outgoing S and Metropolitan variants, bringing refreshed styling, premium interiors, and advanced diesel powertrain features.
Land Rover Discovery Gemini and Tempest Editions: Design Highlights
The Gemini Edition features a gloss-black roof, 21-inch silver alloy wheels, silver skid plates, and a silver-accented grille. Available colors include Sedona Red, Fuji White, Santorini Black, and Eiger Grey.
The Tempest Edition emphasizes luxury with Petra Copper dual-tone 22-inch wheels, a Graphite Atlas grille, Tempest puddle lamps, and silver-etched door sills.
Interior and Features
Both editions come with premium interiors including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment, Meridian sound system, and three-zone climate control.
The Tempest Edition adds a heads-up display, 14-speaker Meridian stereo, four-zone climate control, power-folding third-row seats, and a heated multifunction steering wheel. Interior themes include Ebony, Caraway, and Light Oyster.
The Gemini Edition offers leatherette or fabric upholstery in Light Oyster and Ebony tones.
Diesel Powertrain
Both editions are powered by the 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine with mild-hybrid assist, producing 345 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. Paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive, the SUV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.
