Mahindra has released another teaser for the upcoming XEV 9S, confirming that the electric SUV will feature rear entertainment screens. This addition places the 9S firmly among the most premium and tech-loaded models in its class. These rear displays are likely reserved for higher variants and are expected to run the same operating system and UI as the front screens, offering access to media, navigation mirroring, apps, and more.
Premium, Tech-Focused Cabin
With every new teaser, the XEV 9S is shaping up to be Mahindra’s most sophisticated EV yet. Key cabin highlights revealed so far include:
- Harman Kardon premium sound system
- A near full-length panoramic sunroof
- Multicolour ambient lighting across the cabin
- Black, modern interior theme
- Five screens in total — three at the front and two for the rear passengers
The triple-screen dashboard, combined with the dual rear entertainment units, creates a lounge-like, fully digital in-car experience.

Practical Storage: Boot + Frunk
Mahindra has also showcased the XEV 9S’s storage spaces, confirming:
- A large and deep frunk for added practicality
- A wide, well-shaped rear boot that should be among the segment’s most spacious
This indicates that Mahindra is aiming for a balance of technology, comfort, and everyday usability in its first three-row born-electric SUV.
