Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the first official images of the second-generation GLB’s interior, giving a clear look at the major upgrades coming to the brand’s popular 7-seat SUV. Set for its global reveal on December 8, 2025, the new GLB brings a noticeably more premium and tech-rich cabin, which Mercedes calls a “massive step up” from the outgoing model.
The new dashboard layout adopts a cleaner, more modern design with improved materials and sharper detailing. Larger digital displays, updated MBUX software, and redesigned air-vents lend the cabin a more contemporary feel. Ambient lighting has been enhanced, while fresh upholstery choices aim to broaden personalisation options.

The 7-seat layout continues, but Mercedes claims better comfort across all three rows thanks to improved packaging, more supportive seats, and upgraded cabin insulation. Practicality also sees a boost, with flexible seating arrangements, expanded storage spaces, and a redesigned centre console engineered for easier day-to-day usability.
The first-gen GLB was discontinued in India in April 2025 after a little over two years on sale. With the global debut nearing, Mercedes is expected to reveal more on powertrains, variants, and market-specific plans soon.
The second-generation GLB aims to combine family practicality with a more refined, high-tech interior—positioning it as a stronger competitor in the crowded luxury SUV segment.
