MG Windsor EV Sets New Record — Fastest 50,000 Units Sold in India

The MG Windsor EV has become one of India’s fastest-growing electric cars, crossing the 50,000-unit sales milestone in record time. Launched in September 2024, the Windsor reached its first 20,000 sales in just six months, with the next 30,000 units sold over the following seven months — a clear sign of its strong acceptance in the mass-market EV segment.

MG credits this performance to the Windsor’s competitive pricing, feature-rich cabin, and the introduction of the Windsor Pro variant with an extended driving range. The brand’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model has further reduced ownership costs, helping the EV reach a wider audience.

According to MG, an average of five Windsor EVs were sold every hour since launch, allowing the SUV to hit 50,000 sales in just 400 days.
