New Hyundai Venue Revealed in India: Bookings Now Open for the Updated SUV

Hyundai India has officially unveiled the new Hyundai Venue, showcasing refreshed exteriors, upgraded interiors, and revised variant names. The popular compact SUV now looks more premium and feature-rich, with bookings open across dealerships and Hyundai’s official website for a token amount of ₹25,000.

New Hyundai Venue: Design and Dimensions

The updated Hyundai Venue receives a major visual upgrade, featuring quad-beam LED headlamps, twin-horn DRLs, a dark chrome radiator grille, and horizon-style LED tail lamps that stretch across the rear. Other exterior highlights include bridge-type roof rails, a new C-pillar garnish, and a bold ‘Venue’ emblem.

In terms of proportions, the new Venue is 48mm taller and 30mm wider than the outgoing model, giving it a more robust and commanding presence on the road.

Interior and Features

Inside, the new Hyundai Venue introduces a dual 12.3-inch display setup that includes the instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. Premium touches like dual-tone leather seats, ambient lighting, rear window sunshades, and a D-cut steering wheel enhance comfort and style.

For added convenience, the SUV now offers electric four-way adjustable driver seats, two-step reclining rear seats, and rear AC vents. Hyundai has also introduced a new variant structure with the ‘HX’ nomenclature, and a diesel automatic option has been added to the lineup.

Engines and Performance

Under the hood, the new Venue retains its trusted powertrains —

  • 1.2L Kappa MPi petrol (82bhp/113Nm)
  • 1.0L Turbo GDi petrol (118bhp/172Nm)
  • 1.5L U2 CRDi diesel (114bhp/250Nm)

Transmission options include 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 6-speed AT, and 7-speed DCT. The engines are expected to remain mechanically unchanged, focusing instead on refinement and efficiency.

With this facelift, Hyundai aims to strengthen the Venue’s position against rivals like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV 3XO in the compact SUV segment.
