Kia has officially unveiled the second-generation Seltos in India, marking a major step forward for the brand in the competitive mid-size SUV space. The next-gen Seltos brings a complete redesign, a more premium interior, new-age technology, and a larger overall footprint. Bookings are set to begin on 10 December, while prices will be announced on 2 January 2026.
The SUV will be offered across HTE, HTK, HTX, GT-Line, and X-Line trims, and it will continue with Kia’s trusted trio of engine options — naturally aspirated petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel.
Exterior Design: Sharper, Bigger, and Far More Contemporary
The 2026 Seltos adopts Kia’s evolved global design philosophy, bringing an entirely new look while staying true to its strong SUV identity.
Key exterior updates include:
- A redesigned, more upright Tiger Nose grille
- A sleeker front fascia with wider air intakes
- Flush pop-out door handles, a major upgrade that boosts aerodynamics and premium appeal
- Aero-optimised alloy wheels inspired by the Carens and Carens Clavis EV
- A fully connected vertical LED tail-lamp signature, giving the rear a fresh, premium identity
- More muscular body lines and a stronger silhouette
One of the biggest updates is the SUV’s increased size. The new Seltos now measures 4.46 metres in length (up from 4.36m), giving it one of the most commanding road presences in its class.
Interior Overhaul: Premium Layout, Bigger Space, and Modern Tech
The cabin of the next-gen Seltos has undergone a complete transformation. Drawing cues from the Carens Clavis, Kia has elevated the interior to a far more premium and comfortable space.
Major interior updates include:
- Dual 12.3-inch connected screens — digital cluster + touchscreen infotainment
- A redesigned three-spoke steering wheel
- A revamped centre console with increased storage spaces
- Premium dual-tone colour schemes
- A panoramic sunroof, offered for the first time on the Seltos
- Larger 447-litre boot with a powered tailgate
- Improved second-row comfort with a 60:40 split-recline function
The wheelbase now stands at 2,690mm (an increase of 80mm), directly enhancing legroom and overall rear-seat comfort.
