Tata Motors is all set to revive one of its most iconic badges as the all-new Tata Sierra makes its India debut tomorrow. After months of teasers, concept showcases, and camouflaged prototypes, the production-ready Sierra is finally ready to take centre stage.
- Price Announcement on 25 November
- Available in Both ICE and EV Versions
The reborn Sierra will arrive with both electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) powertrains. The EV variant has naturally drawn early attention thanks to its clean, closed-off nose, full-width LED light bar, and smooth, minimalist surfacing. The ICE model, meanwhile, sports a more muscular look with a bold grille and rugged design elements.
Despite their visual differences, both versions stay true to the Sierra’s heritage, offering a modern reinterpretation of the SUV’s distinctive glasshouse silhouette. The upright stance and squared-off proportions echo the original Sierra while giving it a fresh, contemporary presence.

Premium Interior with Modern Tech
Inside, the new Sierra is expected to offer a premium, feature-rich cabin with:
- Triple-screen dashboard layout
- High-quality upholstery and materials
- Spacious seating with flexible configurations
- Panoramic sunroof
- Connected car features
- Ventilated front seats
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
The cabin blends futuristic design with everyday practicality, aligning with Tata’s evolving interior philosophy seen on its latest models.
Expected Powertrains
Full powertrain details will be revealed at the global debut, but early expectations suggest:
- The ICE variant will use Tata’s new-generation turbo-petrol engine
- The EV variant will be built on Tata’s latest Gen 3 EV architecture, paired with a long-range battery pack designed for strong efficiency and performance
Pricing and Positioning
Variant-wise information and pricing will be announced closer to launch. The new Sierra is expected to slot below the Harrier in Tata’s lineup, aimed at buyers seeking a stylish, tech-loaded, and future-ready mid-size SUV.
