Skoda India Reports 90% Growth in November 2025, Crosses 5 Lakh Sales Milestone

Skoda Auto India has concluded November 2025 with one of its strongest sales performances in recent years, marking a monumental month for the brand both in terms of growth and long-term achievements. The company has posted an extraordinary 90 percent year-on-year increase, nearly doubling its November 2024 performance and signalling just how far Skoda’s renewed India strategy has progressed. In the same month last year, the brand sold 2,886 units, but November 2025 saw that number soar to 5,491 units, reflecting a remarkable volume jump of 2,605 units and highlighting Skoda’s renewed customer pull in the highly competitive Indian automotive market.

A key factor driving this surge is the Kylaq, the company’s premium B-segment SUV positioned under the INDIA 2.5 strategy. The model has quickly emerged as Skoda’s top growth engine, especially after the GST 2.0 reforms, which brought effective price corrections and made the Kylaq significantly more accessible. Its lively 1.0-litre turbo-petrol powertrain, competitive pricing and feature-packed approach have resonated strongly with buyers. Early response indicates that the Kylaq has hit the sweet spot between affordability and premium appeal, giving Skoda a powerful push at a time when SUVs dominate purchase decisions across the country.

At the same time, Skoda continues to maintain a strong presence across other segments. The Slavia and Kushaq, both pillars of the INDIA 2.0 program, remain steady contributors to the company’s overall numbers. Facelifts for at least one of these models are expected before the end of the month, which could bring further momentum. In the premium space, the Kodiaq continues its consistent performance as a CKD-assembled luxury three-row SUV, attracting families seeking refinement, comfort and European build quality. Meanwhile, the enthusiast-focussed 2025 Octavia RS created a massive wave of excitement, with all 100 CBU units allocated for India selling out in just twenty minutes—solidifying the RS badge’s cult status in the country.

Adding to the strong sales month, Skoda Auto India crossed a significant milestone by surpassing 5 lakh cumulative sales while celebrating its 25th anniversary in the market. Over the past two and a half decades, Skoda has repeatedly hit several performance benchmarks across months, quarters and years, and this new milestone further validates its continued growth trajectory and rising acceptance among Indian buyers.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Škoda Auto India, credited this accelerated progress to the company’s expanding dealer network, improved ownership costs and a product lineup that has continuously evolved to match changing customer expectations. Gupta reaffirmed that Skoda is committed to sustaining this momentum as it prepares for upcoming facelifts and a stronger retail presence in 2026. With the Kylaq already reshaping the brand’s monthly performance and more updates on the way, Skoda concludes 2025 in one of its most confident positions yet.
