Compact SUVs remain the main drivers of Tata Motors’ festive success. The Nexon topped the charts with 38,000 units sold in September alone, registering a 73% growth compared to last year. The Punch closely followed with 32,000 units, growing 29% year-on-year. These models have clearly captured the imagination of Indian buyers looking for compact, feature-rich, and value-for-money SUVs.

Electric Vehicles Gain Momentum

Tata Motors’ EV portfolio also shone during the festive season, with over 10,000 electric vehicles sold, marking a 37% growth. Models like the Nexon EV and Tigor EV contributed significantly, showcasing India’s increasing acceptance of electric mobility. The combination of competitive pricing, attractive features, and growing charging infrastructure has helped Tata EVs perform exceptionally well this festive season.

Sales growth was observed across urban and semi-urban regions, with strong contributions from metros and tier-1 cities.
