With the festive season in full swing and GST-based price revisions boosting buyer sentiment, the Indian auto market is buzzing with new launches. Tata Motors is gearing up to join the action with two major introductions — the Tata Sierra EV and its ICE counterpart.
The company has already sent out media invites to block dates for the launches. The Sierra EV is expected by late November 2025, followed by the ICE version in mid-December.
Staying true to its EV-first strategy, Tata will bring the electric variant first. Unveiled in its production-ready form at Auto Expo earlier this year, the Sierra EV is likely to feature 65kWh and 75kWh battery packs, offering a range of over 500 km.
Meanwhile, the ICE Sierra is expected to get a 2.0-litre diesel and 1.5-litre T-GDi petrol engine, paired with six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. Both versions are part of Tata’s larger plan to launch 17 new models in India by FY30, strengthening its EV and ICE portfolio.
