Toyota has officially revealed the all-new Land Cruiser FJ at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, marking the revival of its legendary compact off-roader. Positioned below the Land Cruiser 250 and 300 Series, the FJ blends retro-inspired styling with modern off-road technology, targeting adventure seekers and lifestyle SUV enthusiasts.
On the exterior, the new Land Cruiser FJ adopts a boxy silhouette reminiscent of the classic FJ40. It features round LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, a bold Toyota-lettered grille, and muscular wheel arches housing large all-terrain tyres. The contrasting roof, exposed door hinges, and short overhangs highlight its rugged and purposeful stance, while the high ground clearance underscores its off-road capabilities.
Inside, the cabin combines tough utility with modern sophistication. It gets a digital driver’s display, a large touchscreen infotainment system, and premium durable materials designed to withstand adventurous use while maintaining comfort.
Under the hood, the Land Cruiser FJ is powered by a 2.7-litre petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and a 4WD system, delivering 160 bhp and 246 Nm of torque.
Toyota plans to launch the Land Cruiser FJ in global markets by late 2026, with an India debut expected soon after.
