MG Motor India has revealed the updated waiting period for its premium electric models, the Cyberster sports car and the M9 electric MPV, as of October 2025. Both vehicles are exclusively available through the company’s MG Select dealerships, a chain of premium outlets launched earlier this year.
Waiting Time for MG Electric Cars in India
As per MG, both the Cyberster and M9 EV currently have a waiting period of up to four months. Since its launch in July 2025, MG has sold 256 units of the Cyberster convertible, showing strong demand for this electric sports car. For potential buyers, this waiting period highlights the popularity and limited production of MG’s premium EV lineup.
MG Select Dealerships and Booking Experience
MG currently operates 14 MG Select dealerships across India, ensuring buyers receive a premium experience when booking their cars. Customers can reserve their Cyberster or M9 online or at the dealership, and the staff provides detailed assistance throughout the delivery process. MG Select outlets focus on personalized service, EV education, and premium customer care.
Pricing, Features, and Special Editions
The MG Cyberster and M9 EV are priced from ₹69.90 lakh onwards, positioning them among India’s premium electric vehicles. In addition, MG recently launched the Inspire Edition of the Windsor, limited to 300 units, to celebrate 40,000 units sold in India. The special edition features upgraded interiors and cosmetic tweaks.
For comparison, other premium EVs in India include the Tata Nexon EV Max and Hyundai Ioniq 5, though MG continues to focus on luxury and performance.
