Lexus India has announced a voluntary recall covering select units of its LM, LX, LS, NX, and RX models due to a software issue in the Parking Assist ECU — a component of the Panoramic View Monitor (360-degree camera) system. A total of 1,588 vehicles are affected across the brand’s luxury lineup.
Recall Overview
The recall aims to reprogram the software that manages the 360-degree camera system, as it may display incorrect rear-view images under certain conditions. Lexus clarified that no incidents or malfunctions have been reported in India so far. The recall is being carried out as a preventive safety measure to ensure optimal system performance.

Background
This recall follows a similar campaign initiated by Toyota India, Lexus’s parent company, which recently recalled models like the Camry, Vellfire, and Land Cruiser for the same software-related issue.
Lexus reiterated its commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, emphasizing that proactive measures like these reflect the brand’s dedication to delivering a secure and premium ownership experience.
