Mercedes-Benz India has confirmed the return of the V-Class MPV to the Indian market, with the re-launch scheduled for March 3, 2026. The premium people mover will make its comeback after being withdrawn from sale in 2022, ending a gap of more than three years.
The V-Class is positioned as a luxury MPV aimed at buyers who want space, comfort, and a premium travel experience. During its earlier stint in India, the model was popular among business owners, luxury fleet operators, and large families looking for a high-end alternative to traditional SUVs.
While Mercedes-Benz has not yet shared detailed specifications for the 2026 model, the updated V-Class is expected to arrive with refreshed styling, upgraded interior features, and improved technology. The MPV is also likely to offer enhanced comfort for rear-seat passengers, which remains one of its strongest selling points.
The decision to bring back the VClass reflects growing demand in India for premium multi-purpose vehicles, especially in the chauffeur-driven and luxury travel segments. With buyers increasingly looking beyond SUVs, the VClass is expected to fill a niche that combines practicality with luxury.
Mercedes-Benz India is expected to announce pricing and variant details closer to the launch date. The reintroduction of the V-Class will further expand the brand’s portfolio in the country, strengthening its presence in the luxury people-mover space.
With its return confirmed, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class is set to once again offer Indian customers a premium MPV option when it goes on sale in early 2026.
