Select Tata dealerships have begun accepting unofficial bookings for the all-new Tata Sierra, with a token amount of ₹11,000. The much-awaited SUV is set to launch on 25 November and will be offered with petrol, diesel, and EV powertrains, making it one of Tata’s most versatile models yet.
Production-Ready Sierra Unveiled
Tata Motors recently showcased the production-spec Sierra, revealing the final design while holding back most mechanical and feature specifications. The brand has so far displayed only the exterior styling and colour options.
The ICE range will include:
- A new petrol engine
- A diesel option
Meanwhile, the Sierra EV will sit at the top of the lineup, featuring a larger battery and extended range. Detailed specifications and variant-wise features are expected to be announced at or shortly before the official launch.

Positioning and Competitors
Within Tata’s portfolio, the Sierra will be positioned between the Curvv and the Harrier, giving it a strong foothold in the popular mid-size SUV segment. It will directly compete against:
- Hyundai Creta
- Kia Seltos
- Honda Elevate
- Mahindra XUV700
- Other similarly priced SUVs
Interior and Feature Highlights
The new Sierra will introduce several firsts for Tata Motors, including:
- A three-screen dashboard setup
- Redesigned centre console
- Dual-tone seat upholstery
- A large panoramic sunroof
- A premium audio system
These features aim to deliver a modern, tech-rich cabin experience, helping the Sierra stand out in a highly competitive market.
