Hyundai Venue Sees 70% Bookings for Petrol Variants After 2025 Launch

Petrol Power Drives Venue Bookings

Hyundai has announced that nearly 70% of bookings for the newly launched Venue come from its petrol-powered variants, signaling a clear consumer shift toward petrol options in the compact SUV market.

A Major Update for the Popular SUV

Launched on November 4, the new-generation Hyundai Venue represents the model’s most significant upgrade since its 2019 debut. Prices start at ₹7.90 lakh for the base variant and go up to ₹10.55 lakh for the sportier N Line trims.

This update brings a host of new features, positioning the Venue as one of the most tech-forward SUVs in its class. It is also Hyundai’s first software-defined vehicle (SDV) in India — equipped with over-the-air (OTA) updates, Level 2 ADAS, and dual 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment and instrument cluster.

Improved Performance and Connectivity

Built on a new platform, the upgraded Venue offers enhanced performance, efficiency, and connectivity. The refreshed powertrain lineup caters to diverse driving preferences while reinforcing Hyundai’s push toward intelligent mobility.

Takes on Strong Rivals

With its comprehensive feature set and modern design, the new Venue competes directly with top contenders in the compact SUV segment, including the Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, Maruti Fronx, Toyota Taisor, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Skoda Kylaq.
