The upcoming Bayon moves away from its hatchback-based crossover roots and adopts a more upright, confident design aimed at improving space and road presence.
The camouflaged test vehicle shows squarer proportions and a taller stance, instantly making it look more substantial. The roofline appears flatter, while the body seems wider and more planted than before. Together, these changes point to better interior packaging and a more practical cabin, areas that matter most to buyers in the sub-compact SUV segment.
Viewed from the side, the new Bayon appears to sit on a longer wheelbase. This is expected to improve rear-seat comfort and overall cabin space.
